KINEXCS is a highly recognized med-tech company established in Singapore that builds wearable device and digital platforms to enhance patient experience and quality of care for rehabilitation. We develop monitoring systems to remotely track, analyze, and monitor the rehabilitation progress of patients who have lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, such as a total knee replacement surgery or osteoarthritis. The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a software development lead, to oversee all aspects of software design and development for Kinexcs’ recovery monitoring products across both Android and iOS platforms. You will partner with external software development vendors to ensure project progress and product quality, develop internal software QA and QC protocols and test methods and collaborate with quality team to ensure safety and effectiveness of Kinexcs’ software product. In this role you will work closely with our hardware development team to ensure system integrity and excellent product usability. You will be based in Singapore, Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage software development projects including Android and iOS application development
Establishment of back-end integration solutions, and designing data management solutions on cloud platforms.
Work closely with and manage the external and internal hardware and software development teams to design, build and extend new products, platforms and features.
Collaborate with quality team on establishment and maintain quality management system for software design and development.
Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies to assess product quality based on customer and regulatory requirements.
Identify root cause of failures and issues and maintain documentation. Bug fixing and improving application performance.
Raise the bar by scrutinizing codes from external development teams, transferring knowledge to team members, and helping with other product development duties across teams.
Closely manage software development-related documentations according to company quality policies.
What you’ll need
Are you an experienced full stack software developer with 3 to 5 years of experience and demonstrated understanding across full mobile development life cycle? Are you an eager learner, able to work independently as well as in teams? And are you ready to work in an International environment? If so, you may be our new team member!
Must haves
A BSc/MSc degree in computer science (CS), software engineering, information technology, electrical engineering or related fields.
Familiarity with the modern Android programming paradigm, including RxJava and/or Kotlin.
Working knowledge of several architectural approaches, caching, data storage and security.
Strong CS fundamentals - with competencies in algorithms and data structures.
Experienced in back-end development.
Excellent communication skill in English and teamwork spirits.
Nice to haves
Some familiarity with hardware-related (IOT) devices
Experience working in highly regulated and security focused industries such as healthcare or banking
Involvement in a HIPAA compliant project is an advantage.
