We are looking for a Mobile Developer to join our research and product development team of scientists, engineers, and clinicians to deliver diagnostic and monitoring solutions that elevate the welling being of patients suffering from respiratory illnesses. The Role

Your role as a Fullstack Mobile Engineer is to develop Android and iOS mobile applications for the diagnostic and monitoring of respiratory illnesses, along with the rest of the mobile app development team. You will be working with the team in Ho Chi Minh City or Ha Noi, with frequent collaboration with the Singapore based product owner and team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications throughout the entire development process

  • Integrate with external APIs using asynchronous request handling

  • Implement new functionalities into existing applications

  • Write thorough and maintainable tests to ensure quality and product stability

  • Perform software documentation

  • Be a team player and contribute in areas not necessarily part of your core responsibilities

A day in the life of

  • Start at our coworking space with coffee or breakfast

  • Daily scrum (15 min) with the Development Team in the co-working space

  • Work on your sprint backlog items (i.e. integration testing of new mobile features)

  • Review and understand specifications together with product owner

  • Have lunch either at the coworking space canteen/ bar or head outside

  • Continue working on your sprint backlog items from common breakout area

  • Reach out to the Scrum Master for English and communication support

What you’ll need

Are you an experienced Mobile Engineer across Andoid and iOS, with a solid understanding of software architecture principles? Are you an eager learner, able to work independently as well as in a team? And are you ready to work in an International environment? If so, you may be our new team member!

Must haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant fields of computer sciences and engineering preferred

  • 4+ years of experience developing native Android applications (having iOS experience as well)

  • Proficient in Swift, Xcode environment, Java, Kotlin and the Android SDK

  • Experience developing mobile applications that interface with cloud backed

  • Experience designing and integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs

  • Knowledge of code refactoring, design patterns (MVP, MVVM) and software architecture principles

  • Experience with TDD, continuous integration and continuous delivery

  • Experience with third-party libraries and integrations as well as APIs and SDKs

  • Good understanding of Google’s material design guidelines

  • Good verbal and written English communications skills

Nice to haves

  • Prior experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store preferred.

  • Experience working in the healthcare/ medical industry

  • Having worked in an International environment
