The Team & Product

Diversely is founded and ran by two forward-thinking (female) entrepreneurs, with a passion and drive to improve diversity across the tech industry specifically, and in the general workforce. Diversely is building a set of tools, analytics and learning tips to remove bias from the hiring process and increase the breadth of talent for our clients and users. These tools include our AI based job ad bias analyser, our automated job-ad poster and our applicant profile anonymizer.

We have a presence in Singapore and in Ho Chi Minh City. Our highly valued Tech Lead, Senior Web Developer and AI Engineer are all based in our HCM office, while our Product, Sales and Marketing are Singapore (and UK) based. The Role

As part of the tech team, you will be working directly with our Senior Web Developer who is currently responsible for all our frontend build and also involved in backend integrations.

We work in Agile sprints using Jira and daily huddle calls with our Product Owner based in Singapore, who will provide the updated product backlog and UI/ UX designs and components for you to work with.

You will be flexible to work from home or work from our office in Da Kao, D1 HCM, with other team members, as you prefer. In this role you will be responsible for some of the frontend development user stories and tasks under support and supervision of our Senior Web Developer.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our senior web developer and product owner to develop (features of) the platform and the frontend mainly.

  • Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to build new features for internal and external users of Diversely.

  • Develop and implement test including unit, functional and integration tests to ensure systems are working as intended.

  • Work to meet development standards and write consistent code base and documentation.

What you’ll need

Are you a junior frontend developer, do you enjoy developer new things and problem-solving and have basic English communication skills? If so, you may be our new team member.

Must haves

  • Interest in developing web products, including building UI components and boiler templates.

  • Some experience with ES6, Html, CSS and ability to write code for responsive design

  • Some experience with Javascript frameworks for frontend development including React.js, Redux etc.

  • Structured and well-documented coding

Nice to haves

  • Having worked in a startup environment and/or on an HR tech product

  • Shared passion for making the tech industry more diverse

  • We value experience, but mostly value mindset, so also open to fresh talent
