The Company & Role
Colibri Growth helps technology startups in Singapore to set up and manage their technology teams in Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. As a growing startup business, there are many areas in which you will be supporting in setting up, administering and improving our operational procedures.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following business functions and processes in Vietnam:
1. Business development and HR tasks
HR recruiting and on-boarding of Vietnam technology talent for our Singapore clients
Marketing our brand and activities by managing our website, newsletters and blog
Developing and maintaining partnerships in Vietnam including Universities, Coding school etc.
(Co-)organizing internal and external events including training, workshop, networking
2. Office management administrative tasks
Preparing and checking documents including client contracts, invoices and team payslips
Consolidating and preparing documents (receipts, spreadsheets) for our accountant
Maintaining the updated client and candidate pipeline in Hubspot
Establishing and maintaining company office culture for the team in Vietnam
A day in the life of
Start at our coworking space with coffee or breakfast
Search for and reach out to technology candidates through our various channels
Prepare monthly invoices for out clients and update the accounting spreadsheet
Have lunch either at the coworking space canteen/bar or head out into District 1
Interview/ assess candidates and provide debrief and recommendation
Gather employee/ candidate details in our system and prepare employment contracts
Update our website and write content for our monthly newsletter
Head out for drinks/ technology networking events (not every day, but definitely part of the week)
What you’ll need
Are you communicative, independent, organised, curious and friendly? Do you have a background in Business, HR and/ or Marketing? Are you eager to continuously learn and develop yourself, work in a dynamic and diverse English speaking environment? If the answer is yes, you may be our new Associate Country Manager!
Must haves
Educational background and 4+ years experience in Business Admin, HR, Marketing (or equivalent)
Structured way of working, setting up and following efficient procedures, detail-oriented
Drive to learn and figure out new things and ways of doing things better
Pro-active mentality and bringing enthusiasm to the job and to the team
Vietnam native speaker with good conversational and written English language skills
Experience working with LinkedIn, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to haves
Experience with HubSpot CRM module
Experience working with website using SquareSpace
Network/ friends in the IT developer community incl. Universities
Strange and interesting hobbies you can share with us!
